The Difference Between Rhema and Logos

“Logos” is a word, and what the word is talking about.
Put an apple on the table.
Then say, “This is an apple”.
You have just spoken the logos for the apple.

Hit your thumb with a hammer, and shout, “Apple!”
You have just spoken the rhema for a word that is spelled A-P-P-L-E.

“The word” is God--the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the same.

WordG3056
λοìγος
logos
log'-os
From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ)

The “definite article, “the” ”, explained in the Encarta World English Dictionary:

ar·ti·cle
ar·ti·cle [artik'l]
n (plural ar·ti·cles)
3. Grammar-- word before noun: a word used with a noun that specifies whether the noun is definite or indefinite.

In English the indefinite articles are "a" and "an," and the definite article is "the."
[12th century. Via French < Latin articulus "joint, section" < artus "joint, limb"]

Three contexts for “logos”(the word):

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the WordG3056, and the Word was with God, and the WordG3056 was God.

Mar 4:14 The sower soweth the wordG3056.

Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the wordG3056 of God with boldness.

Three contexts for “logos”(word):

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayingsG3056 of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Mat 5:37 But let your communicationG3056 be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil

Mat 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the causeG3056 of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
===================

"Rhema" is what happens when you flap your lips. It could be a word of faith, or an idle word.

RhemaG4487
ῥῆμα
rhēma
hray'-mah
From G4483; an utterance (individually, collectively or specifically); by implication a matter or topic (especially of narration, command or dispute); with a negative naught whatever

Three contexts for “rhema”:

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The wordG4487 is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the wordG4487 of faith, which we preach;

Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle wordG4487 that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Mat 27:14 And he answered him to never a wordG4487; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

So, “the Logos“ is the Word of God, or the Holy Spirit, His teaching,
“Logos” is an idea, or concept that is spoken,
“Rhema” is not mountain-moving faith, but simply, a word.

Don’t just take my teaching as truth; or condemn it as heresy. Look it up for yourself, in the Concordance, and Lexicon.

Are these twisted and wrong? Help me to understand the truth, so that I can stop leading the sheep astray.
Is it right on? Start thinking differently, and love God by studying His Word: The Word.
