From the base of G5098; an artificer (as producer of fabrics), that is, (specifically) a craftsman in wood: - carpenter.
Since Joseph was a carpenter,
Mat 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
We presume that Yahoshua was also a carpenter.
Mar 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
But, from an early age, Yahoshua’s business was in the temple.
In LoveLuk 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
